Danny Booko Reflects on His 'Worst Times' in the Valley

The valley's Danny Booko is coming to terms with the mistakes he made while filming season 3 of Bravo's hit reality show.

“It was really hard to watch,” Danny, 42, shared exclusively Us Weekly when you remember an episode showing the cast's recent trip to San Diego, California. “To think that alcohol can be a good stress reliever turns out to be the opposite.”

In the latest episodes of The valley,Danny heard his wife, Niya Sanchezshe hadn't taken enough time to help him prepare for a friendly tug-of-war with the male cast members. The couple later had a heated fight that broke the fourth wall.

Some actors have revealed that Danny's behavior changes when he likes alcohol, sometimes he even talks to a voice actor who is said to have a drinking problem.

“Seeing myself in that kind of light, and that version, I really hated that, and the way I treated Nia,” Danny explained. Us of intense camera time. “I did it they apologized to many times.”

He continued, “It was a difficult period of life and a version of me that I'm ashamed of and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep is never a good combination, but that's no excuse. I shouldn't have taken any of it out of it. [Nia].”

The Bravo reality star said he works with a health coach and continues to participate in couples therapy with his wife. Dealing with their mental and emotional health collectively and individually is something the couple says they've been involved in since the game started in 2024 “because we know things are going to come up.”

“We're always just trying to stay strong and be the best versions of ourselves,” Danny explained. “Each, and again as [a couple].”

Despite criticism from other viewers and even a few consumers, Danny and Nia, 36, assured fans that marriage continues to be a priority as they raise four children, including Asher, 4, twins Isabelle and Zariah, 2, and Adelaide, 12 months.

“I love Daniel with all my heart, and I didn't like those moments when we were together, and I didn't like watching them,” said Nia. Us. “I don't hold him in very difficult times either, because I know who he is. I know his heart, and I know his character.”

With more drama to come in season 3 — including a separate cast trip to Mexico — both Nia and Danny want to remind fans that an episode of the reality show doesn't tell the whole story of their dynamic.

At the same time, both parties know they have work to do as they remain committed to their love story.

“All marriages have their ups and downs, and I feel that no one wants their down times in their marriage to be broadcast to the world on television,” explains Nia. “But all we could do was live our lives the way we were then, and what we can do now is to continue working hard on our marriage to return to a healthy and strong place because it has always been our foundation.

The valley airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 8 pm ET. We broadcast the episodes the next day on Peacock.
