Jelly Roll Ditched Wedding Ring at CMA Fest Amidst Bunnie's Divorce

Jelly Roll he was spotted without his wedding ring one week before the news broke that he filed for divorce from his wife Bunny Xo.

In photos from the 2026 CMA Fest, which took place in Nashville on the first weekend of June, Jelly Roll, 41, was seen on stage without her wedding ring on her finger.

Us Weekly confirmed on Monday, June 15, that the singer filed for divorce one month earlier, filing for divorce in Tennessee on May 18.

The former couple got married in 2016. Before their split, they were open about the ups and downs of their relationship. Bunnie, 46, recently wrote about their early dating days in her memoir, which also included talking about Jelly Roll's infidelity.

“I tried to be as real as possible about the situation,” she told Us Weekly exclusively about her book, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, which came out in February. “I think I may have let you down.”

Bunnie didn't want to hold back, adding, “It's really important to be real. My husband is my best friend. I love that man – and we've been through hell.”

The content creator recalled realizing that “love is not always good.”

“It's raw, it's emotional and it's a journey,” he added. “I'm so happy for people who haven't had to deal with anything abusive in their relationship. But I feel like my husband and I have to go through that because it's part of our testimony. It's part of what we've survived – we choose to be together every day.”

Jelly Roll praised his wife for being open.

“It was difficult sometimes just for me to read it,” he told people about his memory. “We went through a lot of pain and had to go through it together, but reading the whole book and seeing where it ended up is really touching.”

Jelly Roll continued: “I'm proud of her for telling her story without regret. I mean, she's fearlessly speaking about everything, from domestic abuse to sexual assault. I'm proud of her. She's brave.”

In March, Jelly Roll publicly defended his wife against claims that she was a “gold digger” in their marriage.

“I love it when they call him a golden digger,” he told Taste of Country Nights. “He hates it. It just burns him.”

Jelly Roll found it funny.

“But it tickled me pink because when I met him,” he commented, “I was homeless living in a conversion van in 1996, so if anyone was digging for gold it was me, Popeye.
