Why Zach from Love Island in the USA Doesn't Want to Sleep With Kayda

Love Island USA Zach Georgiou surprised Kayda Bosse when he revealed that he didn't want them to have sex – despite them having other sexual acts – before they took the trip to the Hideaway.

On the Sunday, June 14, episode of the hit series Peacock, the night cameras caught a conversation between Zach and Kayda in which he expressed that he wanted to wait so that they could go together.

Zach talked about the dangers of sleeping together only to have a barrier – like another person entering the villa – separating them. Kayda is worried about Zach's proposal – especially after they were seen hooking up earlier.

They were able to work out their problems, however, before being sent to the Hideaway at the end of the episode. Despite their previous conversation, Kayda made it clear that she was going to sleep with Zach.

Love Island USA follows a group of singles who must pair up in order to live in the show's most luxurious location. The contestants – called Islanders – live alone in the villa under constant video surveillance. They must be paired to stay on the show and get a shot at the $100,000 prize.

Although the people of these islands are filming for weeks without stopping, the viewers watch the daily episodes and vote on the lovers and the fate of the contestants.

When the Islanders paired up during Day 1, it didn't take long for those bonds to change. There was also the arrival of the bombers, which enticed a few Islanders to reconsider their communications.

Before the audience sang, the peacock gave a message to remind the audience to be kind.

“Villa embraces positive vibes, and so does this community. We love to see your reactions, ideas, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected,” their statement read. “This is a place for fun, not criticism – so keep it kind, keep it nice, and remember: this is LOVE Island!”
