Chrissy Teigen and his family said goodbye to their grandfather, Ron Teigenafter his recent death.
“Papa, your angels are together,” Chrissy, 40, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, June 13, sharing a photo of herself posing with mom Pepper, sister Tina, niece Pasha and daughter Luna.
In a follow-up photo of Pepper and her unidentified partner, Chrissy captioned the upload, “His lovelies.”
The founder of Cravings announced on Wednesday, June 10, that his father died at the age of 86.
“Yesterday I woke up with daddy and went to bed without him,” he wrote on social media confirming Ron's death. “All the same things happened. I took a quick shower. I picked up toys for the dogs. I answered some emails. I avoided others. I laughed with my friends and wore a beautiful dress for my friend's birthday. I took a video. How beautiful this dress is! And then it's like my father … f***ing died.”
Chrissy continued: “I thought that since we've talked about it and I've gotten to know 'old dad' every now and then that I wouldn't fall the way I did. I've been thinking about this call for years.
According to Chrissy, she recently wrote her father a touching letter “about how to be grateful.” [she] it was because of him” that he was able to give birth before his death.
“[The letter was] how hard he works for us growing up and how much I love him. I'm forever grateful for the time I gave him the book, and all the years we've had,” Chrissy said. “If you didn't know my dad, my dad hated almost everything in the world that wasn't bass guitar, swing dancing, wood carving, animals, YouTube or his family.”
The supermodel concluded by saying, “God, I love you so much, I'm going to talk to you every night. Thank you for being a good father. Until we complain again. 🤍🤍🤍.”
Chrissy is married to a singer John Legendwho paid his own tribute to his beloved father-in-law.

Chrissy, who shares her four children with Legend, has opened up about her bereavement journey following her father's death.
