“I think marriage is what happens after that [my Life of a Showgirl promotional tour] in the planning scheme, but I'm really excited about it,” Swift said on the show The Graham Norton Show in October 2025. “I know it will be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have little money and people are talking.”
Swift and Kelce each have a long history with Reid. When the NFL star was training Kelce for the Chiefs, he previously met Swift for his father. (Swift's family is from Pennsylvania, and Reid used to coach the Philadelphia Eagles.)
“She's a Pennsylvania girl, so I know her before Trav does,” Reid joked on Friday's episode. “I'm happy for them that they love each other. That, to me, is the most important thing. They're both famous people and great people, and they have more power to them.”
It is not known whether Reid received an invitation to the couple's big day, but recently he confirmed his intentions RSVP for confirmation if so.
“Well, maybe I have… and if I don't outgrow my tuxedo before then, I'm going,” Reid. filed in Kansas City The Drive radio station last month when asked about receiving an invitation to the big day. “But you keep talking about this barbecue, I might have to go get it. … I'll just come. I'm very happy with them.”

He added, at the time, “When it comes down to it, it doesn't matter how big the show is around them, they love each other and that's the most important thing.”
While Swift and Kelce have kept details of the wedding under wraps, a source you are only told Us Weekly in April that the couple did not plan to have a “big wedding.”
“They went back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private,” the insider said Us. “From now on, they have lowered it. There will be no more explosions.”
