Taylor Swift again Travis KelceThe upcoming wedding is one of the most anticipated pop events of the year – and rumors are swirling about where the nuptials will take place.
According to new reports published by Page Six again TMZ on Friday, June 5, Swift and Kelce, both 36 years old, may plan to tie the knot in front of more than 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The wedding was also previously rumored to be scheduled for June 13, 2026, a number Swift has long considered lucky.
Although the couple has remained tight-lipped about their wedding venue and has yet to publicly confirm or deny where they will be getting married, fans are slamming the speculation.
Taking to social media, many fans of Swift and Kelce expressed their disbelief that the couple would choose such a public place for their ceremony.
“Nevertheless Sly Stone she was married to MSG, I highly doubt Taylor Swift would do this. He is very good at misleading people especially the media to keep his private life a secret,” wrote one X user.
Others were convinced that the reports were a ploy to keep the actual location of the wedding a closely guarded secret.
“Why on earth do they want to get married? This sounds like a cover for where they really are,” asked one X user, while another added, “Oh please. It's fake. I'll bet they WILL get married [Rhode Island].”
Another expressed a similar opinion, writing, “Maybe it's a fake place and it's happening somewhere else.”
Another social media user had another opinion about the timing of the reports being released.
“There is an organized plan to disrupt Taylor's successful song,” they wrote.

“When you google TS the story of MSGarden comes up instead of his hit songs breaking records. Yesterday it was 2 billion 'greedy' spin situation,” they added.
At the time, not everyone was against the idea of the Grammy winner and NFL star saying their “I do's” to MSG.
Some fans think Madison Square Garden is big enough and iconic enough to fit the famous couple, likening the ceremony to a royal wedding.

Another supporter pointed out that the venue was used for other large public events and could possibly host another event at the required scale.
“If Madison Square Garden can host President Trump's speech event that means MSG can host Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding,” they wrote.
After two years of dating, Swift and Kelce announced their engagement via social media in August 2025.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” they captioned a joint Instagram post at the time.
Along with the Madison Square Garden rumors, there was talk that Swift and Kelce's wedding might be split between her $18 million Rhode Island mansion and the Ocean House, a five-star beachfront property.
