Steve Burton Returns to General Hospital After Sleep

Steve Burton it goes back to General Hospital as fan favorite character Jason Morgan.

The clip featured many of the soap opera's cast as they posed for a photo alongside a giant cake to mark the show's 16,000th episode, which began filming on Monday. Eagles fans quickly recognized Burton, 55, among the stars.
Burton announced in February that he would be taking a short step back from his role as Jason Morgan to spend time with his wife Michelle Lundstromwhom he married in May 2025.

Executive producer of the program Frank Valentini he also talked about Burton's suspension at the time.

Burton recently commented on his much-anticipated comeback during an episode of the podcast “That's Awesome”, which he co-hosted. General Hospital star Bradford Anderson.
“Yeah, I'm coming back from the show,” Burton said. “I start in June, so I'll definitely be back.”
Burton made his own General Hospital started in 1991, taking a few breaks from the show over the years. He first left this series in 2012, and returned in 2017. Years later, he made headlines when he was kicked off the show after refusing to get the COVID vaccine.

After completing the whole year One Life to Live,Burton returned to General Hospital in March 2024.
