The president Donald Trump is, again, entering the discussion as the New York Giants starting quarterback Jackson Dart continues to receive criticism for introducing the commander-in-chief at the latest political rally.

Dart's 2025 first round draft pick Abdul Carter responded to the political leanings of his next player the next day with X, writing, “I thought this s*** was AI, what are we doing man?”

“He's probably a good quarterback,” the president said. “He's a little guy. He was just starting. But when he's in the game, he motivates the team. The president continued, “And a lot of people you think, like people in Los Angeles, rich people that, I see them all the time, they beat me up a little bit, and they meet me and say, sir, I voted for you. I said, I know, I'm telling you. The boys voted for me, I can tell you the people on TV who knock me all the time voted for me.”
On Friday, May 29, Dart addressed the controversy while defending his decision to introduce the president during a rally.

“Obviously this was a unique opportunity, to be asked and given the opportunity to introduce the president of the United States,” Dart told the media. “My reasoning was simple, in fact, I have always loved this country. I have many family members who fought in wars. I have two uncles who have retired from the Air Force Academy and are self-employed.”
He continued, “And even I have a great-grandfather who was once the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance at one time, the position of the president has always been the position I am most respected in, regardless of which political party you belong to, regardless of which political party.
