Days of Our Lives puts Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) can't stay away from Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon), no matter how many times you tell Leo to back off and no, we won't be friends after you do. And now that Javi's hunky boyfriend is in town, Leo is about to get even worse.
And we just saw her watching all of Javi and Gus (Michael Ocampo) engage in some hilarious PDA right there in Horton Town Square. But when Leo finds out that Gus is planning to move to Salem, the big question is, will he destroy Javi's boyfriend?
Leo's Obsession With Javi on Days of Our Lives
So, given how jealous Leo is, and that, you know, the last time I checked, unless something has changed, he's still wearing the wedding ring that Javi put on his finger. So, I don't think this will go well. And it's possible that the scheming Leo takes matters into his own hands and destroys Gus's shot at work as a first responder in Salem.
Now, as you know, Leo and Javi have been separated for months now. We know Leo still cares about Javi, but to be honest, that ship has long since sailed. The question is, will Leo take the drastic step of making sure Gus is sent to the park back to Texas because he can't find a job, so he can't stay in town and be with Javi?
Michael Ocampo Makes His First DOOL
New soap Michael Ocampo just made his debut on Days as Javi's new boyfriend, Gustavo, or Gus for short. And Javi reunited with Gus while he was down in Texas taking care of his father while he was recovering from heart surgery. And apparently Javi and Gus know each other as firefighters. But at that time, Javi had not left the room.
If you remember that there was a woman who gave birth to a child and then something bad happened and their child died. Therefore, Gus and Javi never met at that time and after losing his child Javi lived in Salem with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) and that's where he met Leo Stark.
Leo and Javi's relationship
So, you know, right from the start, she and Javi had a really sweet love story, actually, that culminated in that love marriage that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O'Brien) had when she brought her creepy husband, Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte), to town, specifically to disrupt Javi and Leo's big day. Dimitri then lures Leo back into his web of deception. And that sent Javi back to Texas to take care of his dad and his broken heart after he told Leo that he needed closure with Dimitri.
But instead Leo left for Alamania with Dimitri to help prove his innocence in the DiMera kidnapping, which seems like a good thing, but it cost Leo his chance with Javi because Leo didn't tell him he was leaving. He just undressed Rafe and the others didn't seem to say anything. However, Javi eventually learned that Leo was in Europe. Even worse, sharing a hotel room with her hot lover Dimitri. And to his credit, Leo found that Dimitri was flash and had nothing. That she really wanted to be with Javi, but by then it was too late. And Javi had told Leo that he moved on with Gus.
Days of Our Lives: Leo Won't Quit
Yes, Leo does not give up. He takes every opportunity to try to get closer to Javi. He would not stay far away. For example, Leo kept showing up when Javi was in the hospital after Johnny's death scene when Javi played the hero. But unlike Leo, when Gus was gone, Javi wouldn't let his ex get close. Not like Leo did with Dimitri. We saw Javi being strong and insisting that no, Leo can't even be his friend. Javi tells her that it's over and she's dating Gus, who is a really tall, handsome hunk.
Leo's Therapy And Obsession With Dates
Meanwhile, Leo has been talking to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in therapy about how much he misses Javi and regrets what happened to them. But recently, Marlena revealed that it looks like Leo is following the low-key Javi. Poor Leo just can't get over the man he married and lost on New Year's Eve. Obviously Javi is a good influence on him and makes Leo a better person, but that's not his job, you know.
And at the same time, Dimitri wants Leo in the worst possible way. And I will say that Leo has come a long way in his therapy with Marlena since he and Javi broke up. But don't forget, it was Javi who refused to sign the marriage license and left for Texas Days of Our Lives . So, if you think it's a little early for her to go back down there and reconnect with Gus and start dating him, maybe.
But again, Leo didn't wait long before he got too close to Dimitri, even though Leo kept refusing to do that and they didn't cheat physically. I feel that he cheated emotionally by getting too close to Dimitri. Then this week, Leo found out that Javi's boyfriend, Gus, was in town and reacted badly. First of all, Leo made fun of his name and then tried to stop Javi while he was trying to meet Gus. And we know that Leo hates the idea of Javi being with another man. But what will you do?
Does Leo Sabotage Gus on DOOL?
Well, maybe something. Considering how upset and jealous Leo was when he saw Gus and Javi kiss, I honestly expect that Leo might reach into his old bag of tricks and pull his sketchy move. You know, he was really cunning and cunning back in the day. So, you can't put anything without him, even though he's been working with Marlena to try to be a better man.
If you remember, Leo kept asking how long Gus would be in town. He then told Javi that Gus had committed to just coming to visit. But after Javi told Gus what Leo was doing and what he was saying, Gus assured Javi that he had plenty of vacation days and was going to stay in Salem as long as possible. Javi then offered a long-term solution and told Gus that there was a job opening at the fire station.
And after more smoking and flirting, Gus agreed to apply for a job to stay in Salem with Javi permanently. I think it's a firefighter job because they were firefighters together in Texas and we've always heard Gus referred to as firefighter Gus. And of course, Leo was lurking and lurking and listening to all this. So, you know, she was counting down the days until Javi's boyfriend came back to Texas to try and find Javi again. But now this is something Leo might not be able to stand watching happen.
Days of Our Lives: Leo Sabotages Gus' Job Application?
So we also know that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) wants to stay in Salem and wants to go back to being an EMT. Meanwhile, Gus is a firefighter. So we heard that this job opening was mentioned by JJ and Javi. So I'm not sure JJ and Gus will claim the same open position. If so, I would expect Leo to find out about JJ looking for work from his boss, Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd), since Chad and JJ live under the same roof.
And Leo might find out and do everything he can to make sure JJ gets the job and Gus doesn't. Then again, if JJ and Gus don't follow the same mission, I'd still expect Leo to find a way to destroy Javi's boyfriend. You know, Leo might come into the office, sneak behind the desk, and just remove his application from the system or somehow disrupt it to make him look bad, call a bad reference.
You know, there's no telling what he was going to do. Since Leo is convinced that Javi is his soulmate, I fully expect that Leo has the ability to engage in some kind of shocking sabotage because as they say, all is fair in love and war and he wants Javi to be his boy again. And in about a month, don't forget Jacob Martinez steps in as he repeats Javi in the middle of this hot story because Al Calderon is gone. Days of Our Lives.
