General Hospital: Curtis Convicted And Sent To Pentonville – Will He Miss The Baby's Birth?

General Hospital with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) facing charges of assault and battery. And there is a chance that he could end up in Pentonville, especially if they deal with serious injury cases, which is very accurate considering what he did to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson).
And if Curtis is convicted, he may miss the birth of his and Portia Robinson's (Brook Kerr) child. So, we're going to talk about what's going to happen to Curtis as he faces criminal charges and other consequences. Let's go inside.
Curtis' attack on Isaiah was not stopped by General Hospital
Even though Isaiah has Curtis' words, let's face it, he didn't start the whole thing. Isaiah and Portia were out for dinner and she told Isaiah that the child is kicking and she wants to hear it, which is Portia's right as the mother of that child and as a person with her own organization.
But Curtis arrived hot because he was convinced by the evidence that Isaiah, a famous and respected doctor who only does good in his life, left Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at the scene of the accident. Why would he do that? It is not like Isaiah who caused the crash. So, why would he see the damage in his rear view mirror and just drive away?
Curtis Moves on to Isaiah
Curtis is angry with himself and Jordan because they caused the accident and are not taking responsibility for their actions. So, all of that came up and then Curtis hit Isaiah for no reason. Even saying he's a better father than Curtis doesn't excuse the brutal beating. Especially when Isaiah and Portia try to leave. They tried to leave and Curtis kept trying to start something. He told Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that Isaiah asked for it. I don't agree. That's just an excuse.
On top of that, Curtis and Jordan were hoping to play the show because his girlfriend, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) is an acting DA. And we saw when she talked to Isaiah and Portia that Justine was looking for any excuse not to prosecute this case. Like when he calls it Isaiah's argument with Curtis, as if Isaiah started it or was actively involved in what happened. But Justine had no choice but to move forward because there are many witnesses and the victim who was attacked by Curtis has horrible injuries.
General Hospital: Jordan Proved Right
Not only that, but Portia made it clear that Curtis showed no remorse for what he did to Isaiah and did not care about the hurt he had caused. So, even though Jordan was sure that his friend was not going to do his job and that Curtis could have just paid the fine and run away, instead he is facing a criminal charge for assaulting Isaiah.
And this probably won't go well for him. So, we're going to talk about some of the consequences that Curtis may face, not just in the criminal court. But in many other ways, including personal, professional, and possibly financial hits.
Curtis Could Face Jail Time on GH
But first, let's talk about the criminal case Justine is bringing. So, the bottom line is that you need to back off because you are best friends with the attacker's girlfriend, Jordan. From there, this type of assault is called a second-degree assault. And it's 2 to 7 years in prison, even if it's a first offense, which Curtis is, because he's never had any kind of criminal conviction. But the state could also charge Curtis with aggravated assault, which would upgrade to first-degree assault.
This is where you intend to hurt. And if you hit someone in the face, you intend to hurt them. And he caused serious bodily harm even though he did not aim his hand. But that's what he did to Isaiah. And a surgeon who loses a hand function easily meets the definition of a traumatic injury. So that could see Curtis facing 5 to 25 years behind bars.
Curtis Can't Miss His Baby's Birth at General Hospital
The second consequence of his attack on Isaiah may be the loss of a landmark event in his life. With Curtis' trial coming up soon, unless he or Jordan can convince Isaiah to drop the charges, Curtis may be sentenced before Portia gives birth General Hospital.
Therefore, Curtis may miss this type of reproduction. That was going to hit hard because Portia was talking about fatherhood and that made Curtis miss Trina's birth and the years of raising her. So that will wear Curtis down and I'm sure Isaiah will tease him because he'll be there with Portia instead.
Other Consequences Curtis May Face
Another thing we see is that Isaiah may arrest Curtis for the damage he has done. He probably ruined Isaiah's surgery. So Curtis may have to pay millions of dollars in future losses to Isaiah and other damages in civil court. Another consequence that Curtis may face is the loss of his company position and reputation.
Aurora The stock would collapse because CEO Curtis violently and publicly attacked a respected surgeon in front of a room full of witnesses. Anyway Aurora it doesn't include it, which I'm sure it won't, other media stores will. And Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) may have to ask Curtis to back off Aurora until all is dead.
Even if he doesn't go to jail for beating Isaiah. And if Curtis goes to jail, he can't be CEO from there. So, once Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is back, he might as well use it and move on. Aurora. So that would be another possible outcome for Curtis.

General Hospital: Derek's Parents May Sue the Pants Against Curtis
In the end, it will look really bad in the court of public opinion that little Derek might die. It is clear that Isaiah cannot do this liver transplant and it must be done ASAP. A very serious, very special operation. And Isaiah is the best. Therefore, it may appear as part of the criminal case that Curtis' attack on Isaiah endangered the child's life. And if his health worsens, Derek's family may sue Curtis for the damages caused to their son by his actions. Because Derek might have a worse prognosis because of Curtis.
I mean, Derek could literally die from all of this. So, his parents suing Curtis, that's possible. And we just saw Trina asking Portia to convince Isaiah to show mercy to Curtis. But honestly, he never showed Isaiah an episode of kindness. Curtis decided that Isaiah was guilty. Because as he said, he wants him out of Portia's life and the child's life. Also, this week as she goes to the Quartermaines to talk to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott), you know we'll see what Portia is asking. Maybe he asks if they know another surgeon to help Derek.
General Hospital: Jordan and Curtis Refuse to Admit Guilt
But I suspect Portia's presence is an excuse to make sure Tracy and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) know that Curtis attacked Isaiah and why. That way, it's even worse that Brook Lynn stayed silent instead of coming forward and admitting that she was the one who didn't see the crash. You know, he was moved. Because another car almost ran him down the road and he left without seeing what happened.
Even though Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) tells the police that Brook Lynn had a glass of wine, she's not wrong. Jordan was the one driving like he was drunk, swerving into oncoming traffic to get along with his boyfriend when his eyes should have been on the road. Bottom line, if Curtis wants to blame anyone for his future woes, he should look to Jordan and he has played an active role in it. So, we will see if he loses his freedom, if he loses some of his millions. But, I don't think he will come out of this unscathed.
