How Amanda Kloots Shares Her Faith With Son Elvis

Amanda Kloots' enduring bond with his 6-year-old son, Elvis, isn't complete without a little faith.

“We just started reading the children's Bible every night,” Kloots, 44, shared exclusively with him. Us Weekly while celebrating the grand opening of Treasure Beach Village of Turks & Caicos Beaches on May 16. “We get into bed, and we read a chapter of his Bible together.”

Before the new week begins, the former group of Speech and celebrates “family day” every Sunday.

“He's always been young and he didn't know what family day was, but we finally found a church in LA that I love,” Kloots said. “We go to church every Sunday, then we go out to the beach, and we always pray.”

Perhaps the biggest habit Kloots hopes to pass on to his son is the importance of gratitude.

Although the best-selling author continued to live after her husband's death, Nick CorderoJuly 2020 following a long battle with COVID-19, Kloots is trying his best to look on the bright side of things.

“I'm just trying to encourage [my son to] we always count his blessings, because we are very grateful.” “I mean, we live such a wonderful life, and we should appreciate that.”

Back in February 2022, Kloots revealed that he went to church for the first time in two years. After listening to the Pastor of Churchome Judah Smith talk live, the TV host was reminded of his faith.

“I had no idea how much I missed and needed you,” she wrote in an email Instagram at that time. “Tonight was so beautiful, so inspiring and life makes me happy. … All I can say is that tonight filled my heart and soul with so much happiness that I pretended I didn't need it.”

Kloots made some happy new memories when she went to Turks & Caicos on a special mother-son trip this month.

While enjoying the grand opening of Treasure Beach Village in Beaches Turks & Caicos, the duo enjoyed everything from snorkeling and swimming to dance parties and game nights.

“Elvis passed out the first time, and he kept hugging me, he was like, 'Mom, I did it!'” Kloots recalled. Us. “I mean, the beach in LA is nothing like this, so he was proud of himself. It was the main memory that was made, and it was very special.”
