Welcome to Plathville's Lydia Plath again Zac Wyse they were talking about saving their first kiss for their wedding day – so how long did they wait to have sex?
On the Tuesday, May 19, episode of the TLC series, Lydia, 22, joined her friend and bridesmaid Mariah to discuss how married life was going with Zac, 24, after tying the knot in February 2025.
“[It’s] it was really good. To enjoy marriage, to discover marriage,” said Lydia.
She then described in detail how her first night with Zac was after they kissed at the altar.
“Zac had told me before the wedding, he was like, 'You know, when it comes to sex, when it comes to intimacy, like, I want you to let me know when you're ready,'” Lydia recalled.
The reality star recalled her now-husband saying, “'If you want to wait a week, you know, [and] enjoy a week of kissing and making out and warming up before we do anything else [we can].' He's like, 'I'm here to work for you.'

Courtesy of Lydia Plath/InstagramLydia noted that Zac “created a really safe space” for her in the bedroom before making sure they had sex shortly after becoming husband and wife.
“No, we didn't wait that long,” he told his friend, looking at the cheeky face and stopping to laugh.
Lydia explained, “I don't want to reveal what our wedding night was like, but it was beautiful.
The TLC personality was also honest about what it was like to be naked in public after growing up in a conservative household.
“I wouldn't even know how to change in front of my sister until I was 17,” Lydia admitted to Mariah. “That was something that surprised both of us, how comfortable we both were from day one.”

(Before their special day, Lydia's older brother Ethan Plath asked Zac's sex after learning that they didn't kiss. (Ethan, 28, and the rest of the family eventually apologized for being so critical.)
“There's definitely a side of me that no one has ever seen or thought existed. But, it's only Zac's and it's amazing,” Lydia teased before taking a bite of a banana for the camera. The act, which seemed somewhat sexual, caused the crew to laugh, but Lydia insisted that it was not “on purpose.”
Lydia, who moved to Colorado from Florida with Zac earlier this month, continued to give fans a glimpse into the newlywed phase.
“There is such beauty in sex and intimacy with your spouse. [of] happiness, love,” said Lydia.” “It's literally giving life, like, literally, but it's also life as a couple. Like, it's bringing life to the world, but it's also bringing life to your marriage.”
