Is something being done? A lot of big names are there and things have gone 'a bit quiet.'
The Daily Faceoff: David Pagnotta, runs among the big names that could move on this offseason, possibly this week. He touches on Zach Werenski, Elvis Merzlikins, Connor Hellebuyck, Dylan Larkin, Jake DeBrusk, Brock Boeser, and Elias Pettersson. Could there be a few more names out there?

Tyler Yaremchuk: “I'm looking at a few other things right now in the YouTube chats, full of a few different names, but do you think this is the only fun we're going to get this summer? Or you know, it's been talked about, 'Hey, can Zach Werenski raise his hand in Columbus?' Like, are there other situations you're looking at?
Pagnotta: “Yes, I mean, I expect more moves and more fireworks this week. I don't expect Werenski. The sign is there that that's not a consideration. At least, for now, for him to look and say I want to go somewhere else. It doesn't seem like that. Don Waddell and Judd Moldaver, they talked, and everything was going well, on his weekend, Judd Moldaver, he seems to be right. there.

Columbus has a bunch of other holes they need to fill, because it looks like Boone Jenner, Mason Marchment, Erik Gudbranson, will all be traded. They should get Jet Greaves locked into a brand new contract. Looks like he's taking the net there in Columbus. What does that mean for Elvis Merzlikins and his future out there? We'll likely hear his name floated around the trade market again.
And they're looking to add and replace some of those missing pieces. Jake DeBrusk is a point of contact with them, a point of interest, I'm sorry, for them and others. So, Columbus, I don't think they'll stay quiet, but I don't expect the Werenski thing.
I'm like Connor Hellebuyck's stuff is on the rise, and there are, apparently, official talks going on there with the Jets.
Obviously, we're waiting for Dylan Larkin, and I mean, is it a foregone conclusion now? Take what you gave Brady and just give what Detroit, Larkin. Maybe Stevie Y wants something different. But it looks like there's a natural progression of fit there, so obviously keep tabs on that.
There is a lot of noise coming out of Vancouver as well. I just mentioned DeBrusk, but also Brock Boeser's name is there, as well as Elias Pettersson. Now that it looks like Vancouver is willing to keep a little bit of that contract, two, two and a half, if you drop him to 9 million a year in a deal, does that make it more attractive for other teams to look at? Is it Montreal, is it LA, is it another team?

So I expect, you know, two or three big moves here between now and the end of draft weekend. And it wouldn't surprise me if, you know, we get something out of left field, because we're kind of everybody's focus on the main target right now. You know, Darnell Nurse and Morgan Rielly and Larkin and Hellebuyck, who we talked about, and so on.
But is there that thing, that thing that comes out to the left, you know, the thing that I'm trying to find? But things are starting to calm down a bit; usually, that means something is going on”
