LARRY KUDLOW: Trump's Iran miracle

FOX Business host Larry Kudlow discusses Trump's handling of the Middle East conflict on 'Kudlow.'
President Trump's incredible half-hour speech covered a lot of ground and a lot of information. I doubt if there is another president like him in my lifetime who would do that.
The message of Mr. Trump, as I heard it, says the war in Iran is over. We have destroyed them militarily and a brilliant blockade strategy is destroying them economically and financially.
Iran as a nuclear power and terrorist is finished.
All the critics have been proven wrong. Mr. Trump has been proven right. He is probably our greatest commander since World War II, when FDR and Eisenhower and Marshall and Churchill defeated Nazi Germany.
What we have here is a miracle.
Actually, the miracle of Easter—Passover. Let's not forget our great Israeli ally, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
This is a remarkable personal victory for Mr. Trump and his unwavering vision of peace in the Middle East and around the world.
Former US Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette discusses US energy dominance and the global oil revolution on 'Kudlow.'
And it's a stunning victory for Mr. Trump, especially the spectacular execution of these policies by our powerful military.
That Mr. Trump is able to bend history to his vision of peace and destruction of Iran is amazing.
And yes, I believe in miracles. And I believe Iran's victory was good.
Let's come to the embargo, which is very important and will lead to the economic and financial collapse of Iran. A smart decision by Trump.
As Mr. Trump put it: “The embargo has been incredible. It's been held and they don't do any business. They can't do any business because of the embargo. And so the combination of not having a Navy, not having air power, not having anti-aircraft equipment, they have nothing. Everything is gone, including their leaders.”
He added that “prohibition is probably more powerful than bombing, if you want to know the truth.”
With no oil and no money, Iran has nothing left to go on in any negotiations. And I hope the embargo will continue for a while.
The 'Big Money Show' panel discusses the market reaction and economic impact amid the latest conflict and negotiations in the Middle East.
Iran will have to shut down its oil fields, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps will not pay for another few days, the Rial currency is worthless, without trade no foreign currencies can change and the end game.
That is why stock markets do so well.
General Jack Keane is right to say that there should be no compromise with Iran, no ways of life, no help at all until they prove that their behavior really changes. That will take a while.
It is an unconditional surrender in which the rich uranium in Iran must be given to the American forces and, to be sure, the Strait of Hormuz must be reopened.
However, the United States will control Hormuz for a while. While Mr. With Trump doubling down on the blockade, it was game, set, game. He also found time to push his pro-growth tax.
“What's happening,” he said, “is that people are finding that on their tax returns they're getting a much bigger refund than they thought. So it's no tip tax, no Social Security tax, no overtime tax.”
Mr. Trump added: “I think it's worth the wait. I think it's going to be amazing,” and “if you look at what they're doing in New York and California, they're raising taxes and deporting people.”
And for heaven's sake the pope should be happy that peace is breaking out in the Middle East.
Actually, the whole word should be thanking Mr. Trump for his vision and his faith.
