Can the Toronto Maple Leafs acquire Zach Werenski without giving up Matthew Knies?

Dreger talks about Easton Cowan and Ben Danford.

Futa: “So, they don't go anywhere unless they are tagged and they say, 'Okay, you want me to go.' But I don't see that to be the case.
So, there you have it, you have to get into your mix, where you start talking about (Ben) Danford and the Easton Cowan's of the world, right? But, and I'm sorry, but if I get Werenski, I'm not worried at all about Easton Cowan's high for a long time.
If you can keep the Knies, and I really do, this Easton Cowan has grown on me a lot.
Marchese: “Yes.
Futa: “Si… I don't think people understand, how is it, how is it when you have an official person, and when you come, it's obvious that you come with the thoughts you have, you want to expand, and you all come in.”
You win the lottery. This to me would be, if they could get someone like Werenski, unless they parted ways with Matthew Knies. They have won the lottery twice.

When they say the camp is too tired, everyone looks at Werenski, like he's a villain. It's like, okay, this has come to this, and now you know you're meeting me, well, we're done here. We are done here. And obviously he's going to go back and play, and he's going to play his, this guy doesn't have.. he's a guy that's going to go back and play great hockey if he has to go back.
