British presenter Jeremy Clarkson revealed his cancer diagnosis on his TV show – National
British TV presenter and media personality Jeremy Clarkson, best known for hosting motoring shows top Gear again The Grand TourHe revealed that he was diagnosed with a dangerous type of prostate cancer.
Clarkson, 66, one of the UK's best-known TV personalities, shared the news while filming her Amazon show. Clarkson's Farm, in the episodes shown on Wednesday.
“I have cancer,” Clarkson told two of the show's other main characters in a tense scene last year.
“I had a doctor, remember, back in May? I disappeared for another week and got a biopsy and it's cancer, and it's aggressive.”
Clarkson revealed that the cancer was caught early and that he had undergone surgery to remove 10 percent of his prostate.
“If I didn't check myself and they didn't catch the problem early, this would have been my last harvest,” he said. “Because they caught it early, there is hope that I will harvest this farm for many, many years to come.”
In an Instagram video posted Tuesday, before the episodes aired, Clarkson warned viewers to watch for a “hard watch.”

“In general, we try to keep the show bucolic, charming and happy,” he said. “But the last two episodes, which dropped in the middle of the night tonight, … aren't really those things,” he told his fans.
Clarkson, a controversial figure, gained worldwide fame as one of the BBC's three presenters Top Gear, he fronted for 13 years alongside James May and Richard Hammond, but lost his job after punching a member of the production team in 2015. The three then moved to the Amazon, where they caught on. The Grand Tour, which started from 2016 to 2024.
After that he started making his own successful documentary series Clarkson's farmand on Amazon, following his often-hilarious venture into operating a Diddly Squat Farm just outside the English village of Chadlington, Oxfordshire.

His partner, Lisa, who runs a farm shop, and several recurring characters have gained popularity among the British public for their humorous bickering, tendency to rush into the challenges of farming and management, and heartfelt connections with farm animals.
This shop is very popular and tends to attract a lot of people, who often line up outside. Clarkson also owns and operates a local pub called The Farm Dog which serves food, drink and ingredients grown or grown exclusively in Britain.
