An organization linked to Kamala Harris wants young liberals to stop referring to President Donald Trump with the acronym “arrogant.”
Earlier this year, the former vice president relaunched his Kamala HQ social media presence used during his 2024 White House bid as “a next-generation campaign online project.” This account, now called Royal, aims to “unite supporters, pro-democracy, young people against far-right extremists.”
Headquarters has published only three pieces of content since the launch, the most recent coming Wednesday with the scathing headline, “Stop calling Trump 'TACO.'”
TRUMP'S CRITICS GO FROM OUTRAGED ABOUT THE IRAN THREAT TO ATTACKING HIM 'CAUSE HE'S NOT FOLLOWING IT.
An organization affiliated with Kamala Harris wants young liberals to stop calling President Donald Trump “TACO.”
Trump's critics used the term TACO “Trump Always Chickens Out” to anger the president. The term was in full effect this week as liberals suggested the president got cold feet by agreeing to a ceasefire with Iran after earlier threatening that all “civilization will die tonight.”
As liberals poke fun at Trump with TACO memes and social media, White House staffers make it clear they don't approve.
“That framework is not only wrong, but very shallow,” the White House wrote in an anonymous post.
“First of all, such a view puts Trump in need of a strike to prove that his words have real weight,” the White House continued. “Secondly, and more importantly, it loses operating costs.”

The Harris-affiliated group, which refers to members of Gen Z as “we,” touted things Democratic voters often oppose, such as sending ICE agents “to target people indiscriminately based on the color of their skin,” and war with Iran.
“Trump's strategy of insulting statements to release concessions and avoid conflict, unwittingly, gave him the opportunity to choose without attacking. Calling the back-down yesterday the TACO moment invites such a moment to return again, except that in the end there will be no off-ramp. It also fails to recognize the inherent and omnipresent danger of Trump,” the House wrote.

The headquarters believes that “there is no pain caused by Trump's wars of choice and economic wars that could be hurt just because he changed his mind.”
“The genie is out of the bottle. In the future, (because with Trump we are all-but-guaranteed in the future,) the decline will not happen,” the Royal wrote.

Harris is the outgoing chairman of the Royal Family in an honorary role with some of the staff behind the Kamala HQ reuniting for a new project. The former vice president has no editorial control over the post.
The phrase TACO was coined by Wall Street analysts when they talked about Trump's tax policies, suggesting that Trump will go back on the double tax he announced in 2025.
