NEW YORK CITY – Florida Republican House member Scott Singer, and former mayor of Boca Raton, lays out the reasons he believes people and businesses will continue to flee New York City after social workers had an all-nighter in the primaries on Tuesday.

“It should affect all Americans because you've had the Democratic Party continue to be elected by the welfare state, which is now not the end,” Singer, who is running for Congress in Florida's 25th district, told Fox News Digital.

“When you have two members of the Democratic House who have been elected by candidates who say things like they want to end ICE, end all prisons, and end private health care, it shows that the Democratic Party in New York and increasingly in America is not just the Democratic Party of our parents, it's not the Democratic Party of just a year ago. And this great influence will continue to send shock waves that I hope we will wake up to the people of the party.”

Three Democratic candidates for Congress endorsed by the Socialist mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, two of them endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), defeated their opponents and showed that Mamdani's political power is still strong in the city.

A common theme for all three Democrats who won their primaries is hostility toward Israel, which often appeared in the race between Mamdani-backed Brad Lander and Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman, a race that Lander won easily.

“I think anti-Semitism is on the rise in the Democratic Party, it's alarmingly intense in New York City,” Singer explained.

“Congressman Goldman's office was vandalized three days ago. You locked him out of a restaurant because he was Jewish, and he's a congressman. When this happens on the streets of New York every day, it bears a growing resemblance to Germany in the 1930s. God help us when we get there, but we have to understand what people want to do now in the Democratic Party and what needs to be done in the Democratic Party.”

Most political experts concluded that Tuesday night was a sign that the “moderate” wing of the Democratic Party is on its heels to face the pressure of the social wing led by progressive activists.

“On the far left, it's promoting those who used to be the leaders of the Democratic Party and the moderates in the Democratic Alliance are now Republicans,” said Singer. “And I think anyone who is still looking at what the Democratic Party was even a few months ago should understand where it is going. Democratic members of Congress rarely lose primaries and two are attacked by far-left radicals who want to end prisons, end ICE, and end private health care.”

The singer continued, “Everybody needs to be careful because when we run in November, we have a real choice between people who value our American system, our free markets, opportunities for all people and law and order, and those who want to end prisons.”

The singer has gone mentioned earlier about how many business leaders contacted him about leaving New York and coming to Florida because of high taxes and welfare policies. He told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that he expects that to continue after Tuesday night's results.

“We will continue to see people fleeing New York and last night's election should give a lot of people pause because if these Democratic Socialists continue to win, not only in New York, but throughout America, we will not see the country,” said Singer, adding that one of the reasons he is running for Congress is his concern about “radicals influencing our country” when they move to Florida from other places like New York.
