Morgan Wallen has no time for “silly” rumors.

On Saturday, the country star – who was reportedly forced to cancel his Pittsburgh show on Saturday due to inclement weather – took to Instagram to address online allegations that he was out of town before local officials confirmed the cancellation.

“This morning, my team left on my bus and told me that they had been talking to the local officials and that I had to cancel my show in Pittsburgh tonight and I said, 'Why?'” he said in a video posted on his Instagram Stories.

“They said there would be strong winds in the area, I said OK. So, that's what I did and that was the information I had at the time, and I trusted my team,” he continued. “I understand that the wind has not yet arrived in Pittsburgh … The truth of the matter is, I have a large platform that, in those conditions, would be dangerous to many people around it. So, I did the best I could with the information I had at the time.”

While some fans were quick to express their disappointment and frustration on social media, others sparked outrage over whether Wallen's withdrawal was justified.

“Morgan wallen canceling his show last night is funny because I went out after my 11pm shift and my car was dry,” wrote one user on X. “No rain. That man was already on his way back to Tennessee.”

Mike Asti, managing editor of WV Sports Now, Pittsburgh Sports Now, said, “Saturday's cancellation even if the weather cleared up caused a heel turn that could make him no longer welcome. It's an unbelievable turn of events.”

A representative for Wallen did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

After finishing singing this song, Wallen goes over to the piano and pushes and breaks it.
