Iran attacks Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait says

Kuwait condemned the attack by Iran in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying it was aimed at the Kuwait airport.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the condemnation and condemnation of the State of Kuwait, in strong words, for the brutal and continuous Iranian attacks using missiles and drones, the latest of which happened early today, which also targeted public and important institutions, including the airport of Kuwait, which led to the death of one person, injuries to others, including part of the diplomatic statement, the translation of the Arabic language post on X.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense in Kuwait revealed that the building at the Kuwait airport was damaged and people were injured, according to X through the official account of the headquarters of the Kuwait Army.

“The official spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said that a number of aggressive planes targeted today the passenger building (T1) at the Kuwait International Airport due to the Iranian aggression of the crime, which caused great damage to the structure and injured several people, who received the necessary medical assistance,” said the Arabic version.
“He confirmed that the armed forces are monitoring the situation in cooperation with the relevant authorities, and are in a state of readiness to deal with any eventuality, and take all necessary measures to maintain the country's security and stability,” said the position.
The Iranian enemies come more than three months since the beginning of the American war against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement on Tuesday, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) revealed that the United States had carried out “defensive strikes” against Iran.

CENTCOM noted in a post on X that, “An additional wave of Iranian drones attempting to attack US forces in Kuwait failed to have an impact on the target tonight. US Central Command's air defenses successfully downed most of the drones and ensured that no US personnel or assets were harmed.”
