California Councilwoman Katie Porter sent an email to donors that included the phrase “F*** Trump” four times — once in the subject line — just a day after the latest attempt on President Donald Trump's life at the White House Correspondents Association dinner on Saturday.
The “F*** Trump” email from Porter's campaign is the latest controversy to concern Porter, who has come under scrutiny in the past for yelling and using profanity on camera at staffers and threatening to end an interview with a reporter. His behavior has raised questions in California and across the country about whether he is fit to lead the country.
Republican National Committee spokesman Nick Poche said Porter's “F*** Trump” email shows he is unfit to be governor.
“Katie Porter is a horrible and mentally ill person, and it means the Democratic candidates think their way to victory is to fan the flames of violence right after the assassination attempt,” Poche said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “The Democratic Party has completely lost its mind, and anyone who refuses to criticize what Porter says is as responsible for the rise of political violence as Porter is.”

Porter's email sent on Sunday did not mention the third assassination attempt on Trump that took place the day before.
“Today, I want to start with one simple, powerful message that we all agree on,” the email said. :Talk to me. That's right, 1 … 2 … 3 … F*** Trump.”
“Yes, of course, F*** Trump,” the email continued. “Together, we will kick Trump's a** in November and stop him in his tracks.”
DEM SENATE HOPE UNDER LETTER FOR 'CHOKING THEM' RHETORIC AFTER TRUMP ATTACK
Author and X activist Bethany Mandel shared with Fox News Digital an email sent by Porter's campaign.
“Imagine Barack Obama surviving three assassination attempts and 18 hours later, a Republican sent a fundraising email like this,” Mandel wrote in X.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Porter's campaign for comment.
The latest assassination attempt on Trump's life comes as political rhetoric and tensions between Democrats and Republicans have reached a fever pitch. Days before the assassination attempt, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., said Democrats are “in a season of big fights.” Even after the assassination attempt and condemnation of the GOP, Jeffries did not back down from his comments.
