The Dutton Ranch Star Remembers Thinking They Were Going To Be Killed

Yellowstone's spinoff Dutton Ranch he has everyone on their toes – some characters are sure to be killed.

He continued: “You hope it will get better and you hope it will take a long time. But you never know. I hope we can work this for many seasons because I think there are many stories that need to be told.”
Raba was not the only one worried about whether they would hold on Dutton Ranch. During a special interview with Us, Marc Menchaca explored whether the show's deadly twists made him worried about his character Zachariah's fate, saying, “It's always a possibility — and I have a good bye-bye record on the show.
Yellowstone first introduced viewers to the Dutton family in 2018. The Paramount Network program ended in 2024, expanding worldwide Luke Grimes' CBS show The Marshals again Dutton Ranchwhich premiered in May.
Dutton Ranch introduced new characters to play with Annette Bening again Ed Harris. Some new ones include Jai Courtney, Natalie Alyn Lind, JR Villarreal – and Raba's Joaquin.
“I love this about Taylor Sheridan and the whole world he creates where it's really hard to tell if someone is good or bad. We have our heroes, yes, but when you go back—in retrospect—some of the things they did I wouldn't consider very good,” he commented. “But they're still our heroes and you understand them. I hope I can do the same for Joaquin – whatever path he takes.”
Raba had high hopes for his trip, adding, “I hope to have the opportunity to expose what happens to a person who has been robbed of everything – even hope.”
The actor pointed to the new episode where Joaquin learned that he is no longer in line to run 10 Petal Ranch.
“Imagine if you work your whole life to achieve one goal and you don't have a family and you don't care about romantic relationships. You have this one goal in your head and they tell you no,” said Raba. Us. “You ask yourself, 'But why, I did everything the right way.' It must be the most painful time of his life.”
Raba continued: “What's going to happen now is going to scare something in Joaquin that we haven't seen before – and he's in a place where for the first time he can fix it.”
