Next Week The Young and the Restless: Nick Makes a Deadly Threat and Traci Takes a Risky Gamble

The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) makes a death threat, but that could lead him back to opioid abuse. Also, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) makes a shocking move, and will risk everything for the safety of her family.

We'll talk next to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as her bandages come off and what Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) does when all the stress about what happened to her continues to eat away at her. But first, let's talk about Nick and this death threat.

The Young and the Restless: Nick Scares Sharon

So, at the end of this week, he and Sharon Newman (Sharon's Case) have a talk and Nick tells Sharon that Nikki will take her bandages off the next day. Nick admits to Sharon that he feels like he's more worried than Nikki because she plays it so well. What Sharon wants is for Nick to focus on getting sober and staying clean.

And he talks to her about how much she has to fight her bipolar disorder every day. Then Sharon says she thinks Nick has more on his mind than his mother. She confesses to Sharon that she is worried about Matt Clark (Roger Howorth). He said that boy lives in his head. Now Victor says he has control over Matt, but Nick just wants Matt gone for good.

Y&R Spoilers: Sienna & Matt Clear the Air

And Sharon is not happy to be with Matt, but she also doesn't know what to think because she saved Nick's life. Then Sharon asks if Nick will go back to drugs to take care of Matt. So, even though Nick promises that he won't let his loved ones down again, the simple truth is that he might. So, they head to see Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) in the area The Shadow Room.

And coincidentally, that's where Matt is currently talking to Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) later this week. However, it is not some kind of scary conversation. Matt is still dealing with things he did in his past. And Sienna says Matt always wanted both admiration and fear. But Sienna says that even when Matt was a criminal, there were still good things about him.

The Young and the Restless: Matt Opens Up to Sienna – Noah Goes Out

So, she tells Sienna when they first met, she knew she wanted love from him, but Matt just didn't have it in him. And she admits Sienna doesn't trust the Conqueror, she doesn't trust the Newman people, and she wants to know if Matt is up to something. And there is nothing wrong with it. He tells Sienna that he wants to prove that he is not the man he used to be.

And Matt says, you know, he's middle-aged, but he wants to build a life and he tells Sienna that she deserves a good man who will love her the right way. So, he's saying nice things, but that's when Noah comes in and flies off the handle because Matt's talking even to Sienna. You know, he's hot like his father, but his reaction to Matt is understandable. So, Noah yells at her to stay away from Sienna.

Then Matt claps for Noah trying to tell him and Sienna what to do. That's another trap. And Matt says he and Sienna had a long conversation they needed to have. I think that is true. So, Matt insists that he's not a psycho and knows that Noah won't forgive him. But Matt is devastated and wishes Noah would let him and insists that everyone deserves forgiveness.

Y&R: Nick's Death Threat

And of course that's true when Nick and Sharon enter. So, they bark at Matt not to scare Noah, which he wasn't. Then Nick says that Matt doesn't get to ask for forgiveness. That's right. Matt then tells Nick that it's all pointless and that he should just leave town before Victor puts him down and leaves. So next week onward The Young and the RestlessSharon and Nick are still there The Shadow Room. And at that time he told Sharon that he would take care of Math.

So, Sharon tells Nick that she scares him a little. And Sharon talks about Nick saying he's going to make sure Matt is okay. And Sharon asks Nick, “Tell me that doesn't mean what I think it does.” So it looks like he's on fire and making what sounds like a death threat to Sharon. So Matt is worried about killing Victor, but maybe he needs to take a second look at Nick. And this temptation to hit Matt could be what sends Nick crawling back into the pill bottle.

The Young and the Restless: Victor & Nikki Have a Really Good Time

Now, let's talk about Nikki's big issue. At the end of this week, Nikki is walking around the new farm, counting her steps, still without a cane, not even on the stairs. What is wrong with these people? So, Victor helps her down the stairs, and Nikki says she needs to know that she can walk on her own, but she understands that everyone wants to help. So, Victor takes her to the couch, telling Nikki that he knows she can do anything. Victor is really nice, gets her a dress, and asks if she's nervous about taking off her bandages the next day. Nikki says she's trying to prepare for any possible outcome, even if it's really bad.

And he tells Victor that he just doesn't want to feel defeated, no matter the outcome, even if his vision hasn't returned, even if it's gone. Nikki then tells Victor that she misses them and wants to know if he is ready to talk about their future. She assures Nikki that she's safe, but says she's angrier at Victor than ever. So, Nikki questions if Victor's hatred for Jack is stronger than his love for him. Well, Nikki, I can answer that for you.

Yes, Victor's hatred exceeds his love. That is clearly visible because he is doing bad things to people instead of appreciating what he has, Nikki and the children and his life. Nikki burst into tears. Victor looks ready to cry again. What is clear to me is that if Nikki didn't have this life or death, I think blind or sighted, health problem, I don't think she would have gone back to Victor. This is the fear that drives his decisions. I think I'm honestly still asking Nikki to move on from Victor.

IY&R Spoilers: Nikki's Moment of Truth

So next week, The Young and the Restless spoilers have Nikki at the doctor's office with Victor there holding her hand. The doctor takes off Nikki's bandages and tells her it's time to open her eyes. So, next week, Victor and Nikki and all the viewers will find out if his vision has returned. And now, the last spoiler tidbit for next week is one I'm really excited about. You remember Diane worried because Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns), Diane's crush, is MIA. He dropped off the radar after Patty was arrested. And I think Markham realized the jig was up.

So, next week's spoilers have Diane talking to Traci about hooking up with Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) Dr. Alan Laurent's (also Christopher Cousins) sociopath twin. So if you remember, he kidnapped and tortured Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon. And at the same time, he was in love with Traci who believed he was Alan's beautiful twin.

Little and Restless Pirates: Traci Takes a Big Risk

So, Traci is shocked and wants to know why Diane wants to talk to Martin. And it's because Diane thinks Martin might know how to find Dr. Markham. If you remember, he had a bunch of psychology books written by Dr. Alan Laurent. And that was exactly who Martin pretended to be. So maybe Alan and Markham were friends or knew each other.

So, Traci tells Diane next week that Martin won't talk to her. The last time we heard that he was detained. I hope you are still there. But Traci agrees that Martin might talk to her instead, even if he doesn't want to talk to Diane. So, it looks like Traci is going to make some shocking choices and she's going to gamble and try to get the answers Diane needs. I feel like it's too dangerous.

I think it's going to be hard for Traci to deal with a man who lied to her, made her fall in love, and turned out to be a terrible liar. Martin beat up Traci and it's been a year since he saw that bad man. Be sure to come back tomorrow for our full weekly video. Check out our weekly forecast for this weekend.
