Leeds are now making a personal check on signing Premier League goalscorer Farke

Leeds United are now keen to sign Zian Flemming from Burnley this summer, following the Clarets' relegation from the Premier League.
Leeds are completing a trial run for Flemming
Having just confirmed their Premier League survival against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night, Leeds are wasting no time before turning their attention to what's next.
The 49ers will know very well that their work is just beginning. They should also bring back Daniel Farke this summer, starting with at least one attacking star.
According to former Manchester United boss Mick Brown, via Football Insider, Leeds are now eyeing a move to sign Flemming from Burnley after completing personal checks on the goalscorer.
“It's nothing new, they're not just looking at Burnley's relegation, they've had scouts watching him all season.
“They know they want to sign a new striker, they will have first choice in that position, and then they will have options down the list.”
While it's a surprising choice on paper, it wouldn't be the first time a Premier League side has taken advantage of a scrappy club. It is very much the nature of the beast.
Flemming deserves to stay in the Premier League, too. The striker has scored 10 league goals in his first season in the top flight and will provide plenty of competition for Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Elland Road.

Flemming, who is known as “brilliant” by former Burnley manager Scott Parker, Flemming is still at a high level as he is 27 years old and may be available for a low price following the decline of his team. It's an opportunity Leeds should explore.
Farke “could not be prouder” of the Leeds players
It wasn't always the norm, but Leeds made survival look like it in the end. They avoided relegation with two games to go and Farke couldn't fully hide his pride on Monday night.
“Unbeaten in the league against Liverpool, against Chelsea, against Manchester United, first win at Old Trafford for forty years, semi-final of the FA Cup, it couldn't have been better performance wise. Maybe we should have more points now but I couldn't be prouder of my players.”
The Leeds boss also praised the club's summer business, saying: “Yes, we are bright, and we had to be a little creative because we didn't want to risk the stability of this club.
“We spent less money than many other clubs that were promoted in previous seasons, but we wanted to be there with a difficult result.
“So, we actually spent less money and got a better result. This is a difficult mix if I'm honest and we managed to do it so everyone deserves the credit they deserve.”
