Alix Earle Left In Tears After Running Into Ex Braxton Berrios

Alix Earle talks about an emotional conflict with his ex, Braxton Berrios.
The activist posted the “UNGRWM” (don't get ready with me) video on TikTok on Monday, May 25, writing that he was getting ready for bed the night before as he talked about bumping into Berrios last night.
“Crymaxxing,” said Earle, 25, admitting that his “eyes are a little puffy” from crying.
“Obviously I saw my ex in the evening, but we understand each other, so it was normal and nice and we were joking with each other,” explained the broadcaster.
Earle continued, “It was fun and it was fun, and it was. I think that really hurt me, I find myself doing that. I think it's hard when you see someone for a second and it's like fun and normal, but that's your dose, and then that's done. That started to hit me.”
The “Hot Mess With Alix Earle” host admitted that she felt bad seeing Berrios, 30, while trying to put on a brave face.
“Sometimes you just lose control, sometimes you're a girl and sometimes water just comes out of your eyes, sometimes that happens and it's okay,” she said. “I did the right thing, I drove home and cried to my dog.”
Us Weekly broke the news in December 2025 that Earle and the Houston Texans wide receiver had split after nearly two years together.
Earle later confirmed the news in an emotional TikTok video.
“Braxton and I are no longer together,” she tearfully told fans at the time. “We've been doing long distance since, actually, June and we don't get to see each other very often anymore. It's been really hard for me.”
Earle said he is considering moving to Los Angeles permanently after living there while competing Dancing with the Stars. Berrios lives in Houston.
“I think it was a scary thing for me to see because it meant not being in the same place. Another part of me really wants to focus on me right now,” he said. “I feel like I can't be what Braxton needs.”
“I want him to have someone who can be there for him 24/7 and support him. He didn't expect that from me … I always felt guilty,” Earle continued.
“It seems like we're on two different paths right now and it's lovely,” he admitted, describing Berrios as his “best friend.”
Earle added, “We get along and I don't want anyone to pick her up or treat her badly.”
“I think in the end I wanted to go and trust my feelings,” she said. “This has been really difficult. … It's not a game. It's not that he did something wrong or I did something wrong. It just seemed to work out, for now.”
