Criminal Minds Make Shocking Revelation In Surprise Voit Twist

Criminal Minds keep the surprises coming with big swings that can change the course of the season.
On the Thursday, June 25, episode of the Paramount+ series, Brian (Paul F. Tompkins) revealed to the BAU that the FBI agent's testimony led to Voit (Zach Gilford) life imprisonment instead of the death penalty.
The BAU didn't know one of them was secretly supporting the Voit fix – until Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) finally revealed that it was him. The news left everyone shocked, but Rossi (Joe Mantegna) took it seriously as it created a rift among the BAU agents.
Criminal Minds, which first aired in 2005, follows a group of criminal profilers who work for the FBI as members of its behavioral analysis unit. The crime drama explores different fictional cases and shows how behavioral analysis helps the group find their unknown subjects.
The first one Criminal Minds the series has been renewed by Paramount+ after its original run in 2020. Criminal Minds: Evolution brought back most of the cast and Mantegna, AJ CookMisbehaving, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez again Paget Brewster to repeat their roles. Voit's status as a criminal was left up in the air when earlier this season he lost his memory which made him no longer labeled a psychopath. Gilford and others Criminal Minds The cast agreed that Voit can't stay on the show forever.
“I should have left the show a long time ago and I kept throwing, 'Well, I have to go at some point. Gilford continued: “I feel very lucky and fortunate – especially as a guy who started out like Matt [Saracen on Friday Night Lights] – the most beautiful boy in the world. For a long time, all anyone wanted me to do was be a nice boy. I'm still a good boy, [but] I just did bad things [on screen as Voit].”
