Chelsea faced a sudden setback in the FA Cup final against Man City after suffering a training injury

It's worrying news for Chelsea ahead of their clash with Man City at Wembley, with one player out as a late doubt for the FA Cup final.
Chelsea can end a disappointing season with silverware
Saturday afternoon at Wembley should be one of the best events of the English football season.
Chelsea face City in the final at 3pm, with silverware on the line and both clubs holding very different motivations for the 145th edition of the world's oldest cup competition.
For Chelsea, it's a chance to lift the trophy for the first time since 2018, when they beat Man United 1-0 in what feels like a lifetime.
With the Blues on the hunt for a new manager, with Xabi Alonso now a key player at Chelsea, the FA Cup could help the west Londoners end their torrid season.
For City, it's a chance to complete the first part of a potential domestic treble, having already won the EFL Cup earlier this season.

Tosin Adarabioyo is now an injury doubt for Chelsea ahead of Man City
According to Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas, defender Tosin Adarabioyo is undergoing a fitness test after knocking in training.
The 28-year-old is described as a doubt for the final, and interim Chelsea manager Calum McFarlane will be hoping for good news before naming his squad.
Tosin has been a key player in Chelsea's Premier League campaign this season, making a number of league starts. But the FA Cup was a different story.
The defender has been a fixture in the cup since reaching the final, beating Charlton Athletic 5-1 in the third round and then thrashing Port Vale 7-0 in the quarter-finals – Chelsea's biggest FA Cup win since 2011.
His presence in the air, composure on the ball and experience have made him a key figure in a competition where McFarlane has turned the tables on his league selection.
Losing to him in the final would be a mistake.
Chelsea's defensive options have been stretched to different points this season, and the prospect of facing Erling Haaland without a few defenders who have played regularly in the cup is not good.
City arrive at Wembley as the first club in history to appear in back-to-back FA Cup finals. They have lost their last two – to Man United in 2024 and Crystal Palace in 2025 – and Pep Guardiola's side will be keen to end that.
Their path to the final was marked by: a 10-1 demolition of Exeter, a 4-0 quarter-final drubbing of Liverpool with an Erling Haaland hat-trick, and Southampton's stunning comeback in the semi-finals.
Chelsea's route was not so straightforward.
Wrexham took them to extra time in the fifth round, and although a 7-0 win over Port Vale and a 1-0 final against Leeds – capped by an Enzo Fernández goal – raised the bar, they have yet to be tested by the competition's top team.
The city will have a completely different proposition.
There is also a historical mystery hanging over the finale. Despite appearing in five of the last six FA Cup finals between them, Chelsea and City have never met in one.
Saturday will be the first time, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already important afternoon.
Chelsea have never scored in any of their finals at Wembley – a run that goes back to Christian Pulisic's first strike against Arsenal in the 2020 final.
Ending that drought against a City side that dominated the ball in recent finals but failed to turn it into a win will be central to McFarlane's game plan.
