Liverpool are starting to test a move for Spurs' £30m star

After the arrival of Milos Kerkez last year, Andy Robertson's playing time has decreased, and he will leave for good. Now, talk of Alisson Becker's future is getting louder, with Juventus keen to sign the veteran goalkeeper in a few months.

Interestingly, Arne Slot is not expected to be among the departures, with the under-fire manager extending a hand of faith to Michael Edwards and FSG, as many call for the Dutchman's stay.

If Slot is here to stay, it's important that fans get behind him. He won the Premier League last season, and Liverpool will need to stabilize as they prepare for another big rebuild.

Liverpool begin the process of replacing Salah

Salah is irreplaceable, but in terms of attacking right wing, Liverpool will need to find someone who can replace Alexander Isak and bring goals and assists to Anfield.

How many have Salah won over the years? It's impossible.

However, Liverpool have a number of interesting targets in mind. Bayern Munich's Michael Olise is FSG's dream, although signing him this summer is just a pipe dream.

If Liverpool are planning a thrifty move, they could speed up a bid to land Paris Saint-Germain's Randal Kolo Muani, who is currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

That's according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who reveal that Juventus (where Kolo Muani flourished on loan last season) have been joined by Slot's Liverpool in the race for the French striker.

The 27-year-old has struggled in London this season, but FSG officials believe this is not a good reflection of Kolo Muani's ability and are showing a 'strong' interest in the £30m player.

His versatility in the forward line may combat Hugo Ekitike's long-term injury, but this could turn out to be as disastrous as Mario Balotelli's one-off signing.

Ah, Balotelli. There was a kind of nervous excitement when Liverpool welcomed the infamous Italian to the club in 2014, but it soon became clear that the transfer team had made a mistake.

Like Salah, replacing Luis Suarez was always going to be an impossible task, but Liverpool managed to admirably fumble to replace the lethal Uruguayan striker, with Rickie Lambert and Balotelli and they never failed in the 7th.

From the horse's mouth, the “worst mistake” of Balotelli's career, and Kolo Muani could be a repeat of that mistake. Of course, Kolo Muani is a talented striker, but he did not impress at Spurs, even though they are in the deepest hole of their lives, and he was even called “lazy” by the journalist Kyle Freegard during one stage of playing in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, failing to chase a loose ball.

His fitness is all well and good, but Kolo Muani simply doesn't hold the keys, and with such a huge task ahead of them, FSG could be making a huge mistake in signing a player who has only scored one goal in 25 Premier League games.

The Frenchman, who is paid £607k-a-week at PSG, is not a viable solution for Liverpool. Balotelli, remember, arrived at Anfield with good experience in Italy behind him at AC Milan, and Premier League experience with title-winning Manchester City.

Journalist Sam Tabeteau noted that Kolo Muani struggled “even before the fall of Spurs”, and while Liverpool will expect to hit with more power next season, they need fighters, not players who have failed to adapt to the Premier League and who may be difficult to surpass even this iteration of Salah in Liverpool.
