Katy Perry Breaks Silence On Ruby Rose Allegations

“The allegations being spread on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only false, they are dangerous and reckless lies,” Perry's representative, 41, said. Us Weekly in a statement on Monday, April 13. “Ms. Rose has a history of making serious allegations against the public on social media against different people, allegations that have been repeatedly denied by those who have been named.”

Rose, 40, made the accusation on Threads while replying to a post about Perry's reaction Justin BieberCoachella is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. (In a clip that went viral on social media, Perry, watching Bieber's set in public, joked, “Thank God I have Premium. I don't want to see commercials.”)

“Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at the Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a shit what she thinks,” Rose wrote. “After that I dumped him. I told the story publicly but it turned into a 'funny drunken little story' because I didn't know how to handle another one. Later he agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I could tell he wasn't a good person. Instead I was attacked by everyone.”

After one Threads user wrote, “You kissed a girl and you didn't like it?” Ruby replied, “He didn't kiss me. He saw me 'relaxing' on my best friends lap to avoid him and he bent down, pulled his underwear to the side and rubbed his disgusting genitalia in my face until my eyes opened and I threw up on him.

When another user asked why Rose didn't file a police report, she replied, “Yeah, I don't mind reporting this, not when I haven't reported many rapes at the hands of older men.”

“But you are welcome to sue me (you won't, because it happened, I have pictures and it was public and witnessed by many people),” Rose continued. “Besides, a lot happened in the years before his crazy song that he doesn't want to talk about.

Rose then suspected that she would go to the police.

“Today I will be going into the police station to see if any of my experiences can be investigated. I think they have passed their statute of limitations, but all the more reason to try,” he wrote on Sunday, April 12. “I have a long list, it will probably take me longer than I am prepared for, but I will be back here to inform others about this process, as soon as I am ready.”

He continued, “I would like to thank all the brave women who came forward with their stories about sexual harassment, especially those who went through the painful process of going through the police and the courts.

Hours later, Rose wrote, “I did it,” before telling another user that she had left the police station.

“If the good witches, or spirit people, feel generous enough to protect me, I would be very grateful,” Rose wrote. “I said words on the station that have more power than me and frankly it upsets me. I feel very comfortable so far but I have no expectations. However I want to assure people that I am not suicidal in any way, if you know what I mean. And I do not take drugs, nor do I have any health conditions.”
