Man Utd unveil contact to sign Borussia Dortmund star; his agent has entered into negotiations

Manchester United have now begun the process of signing the Bundesliga star and his agent has already entered into talks over his future.
Maguire confirms “negotiations” over new Man Utd deal
The international break has undoubtedly come at a worrying time for Man United. Although a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth was not the result they were hoping for, seven wins in 10 games under Michael Carrick represented an impressive form.
The break has come though, and at least it has given those at Old Trafford a chance to work on Harry Maguire's new deal.
For a while, it looked like the England international was destined to leave the club as a free agent, only for his renewed form to change the narrative. Now, with negotiations underway, Maguire hopes a new deal can be agreed upon that will suit all parties.
“I think there have been discussions. I think we'll come to an agreement where it's best for me and the club. What that agreement is, I'm sure you'll find out in the next few weeks.
“But, yes, I think it will be fixed soon, whether I stay or leave. But I think it will – should – be sorted soon.”
Maguire's new deal should allow INEOS to shift its focus to welcoming new faces this summer, particularly in midfield.
Meanwhile, Man United is reportedly planning a move for Sandro Tonali. The Newcastle United man has become their top target to replace the departing Casemiro and would be an excellent addition.
Meanwhile, those at Old Trafford are also looking for a centre-back to partner with Maguire next season.
According to Sky Germany, INEOS has launched an approach to sign Waldemar Anton. His agent is in talks with Borussia Dortmund about a contract extension, but the Red Devils are hoping to charge and disrupt the deal.
“Very good” Anton can be Maguire's partner
While giving Maguire a new deal would be a good move, Man United could do with more depth if they are to return to the Champions League next season.

Manchester United are expected to prioritize midfield development this summer.
There will come a time for both Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro to play an important role, but it could be Anton who arrives to add more experience to that history this summer.
The 29-year-old has spent the past two seasons at Dortmund and has started 25 of 27 Bundesliga games in the current campaign – playing a key role.

With 124 recoveries this season, it's no surprise that Anton has found himself on United's radar and a move to the Premier League would be a step up from his Stuttgart days,
It was then that he received great praise from Stuttgart's sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth, who said: “Waldemar has become a solid defensive player and a true leader on and off the field. He always trains and plays at a very high level, and he has a very good mind. “
