2026 US Open: How to watch
Heading into the 126th US Open, there are too many storylines to count. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is trying to complete a Grand Slam career with his first US Open title. World No. 2 Rory McIlroy is fighting to capture his second major win of the year.
Past US Open champions Matt Fitzpatrick and Brooks Koepka, who won the last Shinnecock US Open in 2018, are hoping their resurgent performances will lead to more glory this week.
And the course of the iconic host and its deceptive vegetables is already receiving criticism.
In other words, golf fans are in for a treat when they tune in this week.
Fans who do not have tickets to watch the US Open in person at Shinnecock Hills will be able to watch this year's tournament from home. USA, NBC and NBCSN will carry the TV coverage, and you can stream live team coverage on Peacock and USOpen.com, as well as Peacock's TV cast.

NBC, USA and NBCSN will broadcast the 2026 US Open on TV. The USA will host the first round on Thursday, with first reporting over the weekend. NBCSN will air Thursday's late night broadcast and Friday's news coverage. NBC will carry the second, third and final rounds on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
