The club have told Man Utd and Aston Villa to submit an undisputed offer for the World Cup player

Aston Villa and Manchester United are now well aware of the conditions in the race to sign the World Cup star this summer.
The two Premier League sides, with Champions League football on the line next season, will be fighting to land the world-class international.
It is not too surprising that Man United are still on the hunt for further reinforcements. They have already agreed a deal to sign Ederson from Atalanta and are targeting the likes of Mateus Fernandes and Elliot Anderson. The key for them comes in midfield.

Manchester United look set to miss out on Elliot Anderson.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have endured a lukewarm start to the summer before, but have been kept busy by exit rumors surrounding Morgan Rogers and Emiliano Martinez.
While Arsenal are reportedly lining up a move to sign the former, it is Juventus who could be shocked to land the latter. The Italian giants are targeting Martinez after missing out on Liverpool's Alisson Becker.
Losing the World Cup winner would be a huge problem for Villa just one year after avoiding his late exit through the window, but at least it would give Unai Emery the money to welcome a rising star.

Aston Villa and Man Utd are in the race to sign the goalkeeper
As reported by SportsBoom, Aston Villa and Man United are now racing to sign Zion Suzuki this summer.
The Parma goalkeeper is expected to be at the center of 'one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer', with the Premier League joined by Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Napoli in the race.
Parma have already spelled out their terms, telling Aston Villa and Man United to either pay their inevitable price or leave the race to sign Suzuki outright. It's a ruthless move, but well-placed given the number of interested parties.
Whether these two adhere to that demand is now the big question. Of the two, Aston Villa are in a tougher position. With Martinez potentially heading for the exit door, signing the Japanese international would be a great move.

Although he is not a finished product at just 23 years old, Suzuki is full of potential and has already matched Martinez in several departments last season. Aston Villa would be wise to sign the Parma star should they go No.1 this summer.
