EuroXtreme Circus closes the PHL tour in Quezon City

The cast of the EuroXtreme Circus has been touring the Philippines for two years, Filipinos are the best in the circus show.
“Everyone is very generous with applause. They are very kind, they are very happy to see us, and we are very happy there, and I have never experienced anything like this,” said the wife of the circus ring Jessica Anne Eason told the press during a press conference before the last stop of the EuroXtreme in Robinsons Novaliches starting on June 5.
He said: “Of all the countries I have worked in, the Philippines has the best audience.
The final stop of their nationwide tour will continue until July 12. The show features world-class circus artistry, extreme stunts, and adrenaline-pumping entertainment for audiences of all ages.
EuroXtreme Circus is also the flagship show of Art Box Entertainment, a Philippine company dedicated to bringing world-class entertainment to communities across the country. It continues the family tradition that began more than three decades ago with the late Paul LB Lee, who introduced the world-famous Royal London Circus to Filipino audiences.
“This is the first time that a circus has tried to tour the Philippines, but it has never played in as many cities as our circus has done now.th stand for two years, non-stop,” said Art Box Entertainment executive producer and tour director Kenneth Lee, son of the late Mr. Lee.
“The biggest challenge of crossing the Philippines is island hopping,” he added. “Being a touring circus in a tent with tons of equipment and a small group of people, with 50 performers, technical staff, and crew, means it's a challenge to plan things.
Their air-conditioned tent can accommodate up to 1,300 people, although they only fill about 1,000 to 1,100 people at most for comfort and crowd control purposes. The seats surround the ring, have a low level, bucket seats, and bleachers.
EuroXtreme Circus combines “timeless circus art with extreme modern entertainment,” according to ring mistress Ms. Eason, who is also their trapeze artist.
“We have the Wheel of Suspense, which is a very exciting and dangerous thing that we do high above the audience, and the Globe of Terror, which is a metal globe with motorcycle riders running around inside it,” he said.
For him, the classic flying skier is exciting, as it shows aerial acrobatics, while the combination of comedy and extreme stunt attractions brings non-stop excitement until the end.
Mr. Lee said their goal is to bring the highest quality of live shows to the entire Philippines. “We want to bring world-class family entertainment to people in the provinces and not just in big cities,” he said.
Their stops on this tour include General Santos, Tagum, La Union, and Urdaneta, cities that many big shows have never been to. Despite the economic crisis and rising fuel prices, they have never raised their ticket prices.
“We wanted to make sure that our show remains as accessible as possible to Filipinos,” said Mr. Lee.
He explained that, after the conclusion of their last stop in July, they will spend several months preparing equipment and preparing for the next tour, which will have a carnival theme – more fiesta-oriented compared to the current stunt-oriented tour.
“We don't have any Filipinos in our program, but I plan to put some Filipino talent in our next season, and it will make a big difference. It will be amazing,” he added.
To celebrate its opening in Quezon City, EuroXtreme Circus is offering limited-time ticket promotions. Tickets, priced from P650 to P1,280, can be purchased with a 20% discount until June 5. There is a promo where people can buy six tickets for only four, valid for shows from June 5 to 7.
