Back in October 2023, then-contender Keyshawn Davis stepped into the ring to face Nahir Albright. In the opening round of the fight, Albright was using his power and changing levels with the jab.

Albright was aggressive, as he hurt Davis in the second and fourth rounds. Albright defined the pace of the battle, and won a convincing victory.
After the fight ended, Keyshawn and his younger brother Keon jumped on Albright backstage. According to Albright, the Davis brothers entered his locker room, Keyshawn hit him in the head, leaving a lump in his right eye.
Because of this incident, the police escorted Keyshawn Davis out of the stadium. Initially, Davis was supposed to be the top contender in the event, but he weighed 4.3 kilograms over the weight limit and was stripped of the WBO world title.
After going through this embarrassing incident, Keyshawn Davis released himself in January 2026 when he dominated Jamaine Ortiz. Now Davis is ready to take care of unfinished business Saturday night.
