Because of this incident, the police escorted Keyshawn Davis out of the stadium. Initially, Davis was supposed to be the top contender in the event, but he weighed 4.3 kilograms over the weight limit and was stripped of the WBO world title.

After going through this embarrassing incident, Keyshawn Davis released himself in January 2026 when he dominated Jamaine Ortiz. Now Davis is ready to take care of unfinished business Saturday night.
