Post-prod house Terminal Six to help Puregold CinePanalo Filmmakers

Puregold CinePanalo has partnered with post-production house Terminal Six Post to provide post-production grants for seven feature films premiering at the 2026 CinePanalo Film Festival. Each film will receive a Terminal Six Post voucher worth PHP100,000, which can be used for a variety of post-production services, to help filmmakers elevate their final results to a theatrical release.

In addition to post-production assistance, Terminal Six conducted a one-day workshop with the producers of each film, training them in the techniques used to prepare films for storage and distribution on online streaming platforms such as Netflix and HBO Max, among others. The grants given to Terminal Six are more than five million (PHP 5,000,000) grants that each filmmaker will receive from Puregold to make their dream films.

Besides last year's CinePanalo selection, Terminal Six has an impressive list of projects worked on, including the latest soundtrack. Sunshinea Netflix original movie One Hit Wonderand the future Quezon a biopic. It is at this level of production that CinePanalo hopes that each of its full-length feature candidates will increase with their post-production allowances.

“We are delighted to once again team up with T6 Post as the official post-production supplier of the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival,” said CinePanalo Festival Director Christopher Cahilig. “Post-production is the true unsung hero of all filmmaking, and we're grateful to have a post-production partner like T6 who is so committed to making these films not just great stories, but technical marvels.”

Mr. Cahilig added that Terminal Six was chosen as the official supplier of CinePanalo after producing for the second year in a row, due to both the excellent quality of their services and their sharing in the final vision of Puregold CinePanalo.

“Each of the seven full-length films was chosen because of how compelling and interesting they are as stories. With the help of Terminal Six, those stories can be amplified to reach their full potential,” said Mr. Cahilig. “The CinePanalo team couldn't be happier with how T6 helped our passionate filmmakers last year, and we can't wait to see how their services elevate this year's entrants.”

At the end of Terminal Six, the decision to retake the outfit as CinePanalo's official post-production partner was one of their easiest decisions yet.

“Our ongoing partnership with the Cinepanalo Film Festival is a testament to our unwavering commitment to promoting Filipino creativity and innovation as we aim to nurture local talent and continue to help bring unique Filipino stories to life – stories that inspire, challenge, and celebrate our cultural identity,” said Chad Vidanes, chairman of Terminal Six Post.

Mr. Vidanes hopes that in addition to the visual services of the post-production, the filmmakers will learn a lot from the seminars that Terminal Six will be holding, to allow their movies to be distributed and broadcast-ready for life post-CinePanalo.

“We hope that during our training sessions, the producers of upcoming films see the full, unused potential after production, especially when it comes to distributing their films after the Festival,” said Mr. Vidanes.

Puregold CinePalo 2026 will start on Sept. 23 to Oct. 4 at Gateway CinePlex 18 and select Ayala Cinemas. For more information on the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival, you can visit the Festival's official Facebook page at facebook.com/puregoldcinepanalo.
