Sometimes, blockbuster franchises go so far off the rails that they can skew your perception of previous films. The Jurassic World films are a good example of this: The Fallen Empire it was a mind blowing horror movie, Dominance it was a lazy nostalgia fest, too Rebirth it was a soulless schlockfest. Because of this, many movie lovers have written off this franchise and are waiting for the next asteroid to destroy the entire franchise.
However, the film that brought all this “dino DNA” back to the big screen is still a solid blockbuster in its own right. Thanks to a talented director and strong talent all around, Jurassic World (2015) is a movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat with a CGI show and incredibly good character development. It's currently streaming on Netflix, making it easier than ever to return to the cinema made famous by Steven Spielberg.
They won't just be left and disappear

It's up and running, and the newly renovated Jurassic World is loved by almost everyone, including the visiting nephews of the park's new operations manager. But Chaos Theory wins again, and when the dinos inevitably break free, it becomes a race for survival for everyone involved. This includes an experienced raptor trainer, a cunning security officer, and a geneticist who has seen the rise and fall of the original park.
The cast of Jurassic World is heavily populated with new faces in the franchise, including Chris Pratt (the well-known Guardians of the Galaxy) as a loving raptor trainer with Bryce Dallas Howard (best known for Jurassic World: Dominion) as the park's operations manager and his ersatz interest. One of his nephews is played by Ty Simpkins (best known as Tony Stark's sidekick Iron Man 3), while Vincent D'Onofrio (best known Black Men) plays a shady security officer who wants to arm rapists. It's surprising that Jurassic Park alumnus BD Wong (well-known outside of this franchise Mr. Robot) comes back as a brain after the revival of the inappropriate park.
Risky Gambling Pays Off

Like John Hammond's original decision to bring back the dinosaurs, the studio's decision to revive Steven Spielberg's prehistoric powerhouse franchise was quite the gamble. Fortunately, it paid off: against an estimated budget of $215 million (some estimates were as low as $150 million), Jurassic World earned $1.671 billion. That makes sequels inevitable, although the next three Jurassic World films can be summed up by Ian Malcolm in the first one. Jurassic Park: “Now, that's a big pile of sh*t.”
When Jurassic World came out, the general consensus about this revival of Spielberg's blockbuster franchise was that it was good, not great. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a rating of 72 percent, with critics praising the film for being a great visual thriller for those just looking for a good time. They noted that this revival doesn't offer nearly as much innovation in terms of effects and storytelling as the original. Jurassic Park. A Happy Ride Millions of Years (and Dollars) in the Making

You probably know all about how bad the latest movies are, so let's cut to the chase: why would you go back to the original. Jurassic World? First of all, the movie is a cinematic spectacle that takes the theme park thrills of the classic movie in the franchise and takes everything to a whole new level. It's amazing to see these beautiful creatures brought back to life, and there are ways to see them hurt by new threats like the Indominus Rex. In particular, there is nail-biting tension as you watch the same characters escape certain death scene by scene.
Speaking of characters, the real secret weapon of Jurassic World actor: while Chris Pratt is being played a lot these days, he's at his best in this movie, channeling all of Star-Lord's charms and turning his character (not to mention himself) into a modern-day action hero. Additionally, she has strong chemistry with Bryce Dallas Howard, and their fiery chemistry is similar to Han Solo and Princess Leia's fierce flirtation. With these characters, Colin Trevorrow shows that he understands something very important in these prehistoric blockbusters: that the audience has to care about your flesh and blood characters before they care about your next-level CGI.
We're just about to leave

Also, if you are a true fan of the original Jurassic Park, Jurassic World carries its ambition with pride, even going so far as to include an earthly character who is a huge fan of JP.
