“You don't have to hate him just to show that you are liberal,” commented one social media user. “How about criticizing his policies?”

Pratt, 42, is running for LA mayor against the Democratic incumbent Karen Bass and the killing of other mayoral hopefuls, incl Nithya Raman, Adam Miller and others. The hills alum says he's running as an “independent public attorney,” even though he's a registered Republican and has many ties to the conservative, right-wing and MAGA media.

“Regardless of the outcome of Spencer Pratt's race, what he's doing is a true American,” Erika Kirkwidow of Turning Point USA's late founder Charlie Kirkwrote on X on Thursday, May 21, expressing his support for Pratt's campaign.

“See the problem, be part of the solution,” continued Erika, 37. “His campaign ads are unusual, but that's the point; it's refreshing. Instead of talking like a politician, he's talking like an American who sees and deeply understands how fragile the simple things in life are when leadership fails.”

Erika added, “This is what this country is all about. Citizens willing to step into the political arena, not be afraid, and challenge a failing system, like the one that destroyed Los Angeles. I hope moments like this inspire more Americans to put their names in the crowd, run for office, get involved and stand up for what makes this country unique.”

Pratt, currently in second place in the hotly contested mayoral race after announcing his candidacy on the one-year anniversary of the LA fires that destroyed the Palisades and Pratt's home, also received the President's support. Donald Trump.

“I would like to see him do well,” Trump 79, told reporters on Wednesday, May 20. “He's a character. I think he probably supports me. I heard that he supports me. [support me]. I heard you are a big MAGA person. You are doing well.”
